A fun low-carb Chicken Crust Caesar Salad Pizza with a protein-packed ground chicken base topped with crisp romaine lettuce, creamy Caesar dressing, and Parmesan. The perfect hearty and refreshing lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups romaine lettuce chopped
1/4 cup Caesar dressing
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese for topping
1/2 cup cooked chicken pieces optional
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400F (200C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Mix ground chicken mozzarella Parmesan egg Italian herbs garlic powder salt and pepper until just combined
3. Shape into a 10 to 12 inch round crust on prepared baking sheet
4. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through
5. While crust bakes toss romaine with Caesar dressing and Parmesan
6. Let crust cool 3 to 5 minutes after baking
7. Top cooled crust with Caesar salad and optional crispy chicken
8. Drizzle with extra dressing add black pepper slice and serve immediately
Notes
Do not overwork the chicken mixture to keep the crust tender.
Let crust cool before adding toppings so it firms up properly.
Store crust and salad separately for best results.
