A simple and delicious mint chocolate bark recipe, perfect for the holidays or any time of year.
Ingredients

- 12 ounces good quality dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the peppermint extract and salt.
- Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer.
- Immediately sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies evenly over the melted chocolate.
- Gently press the crushed candies into the chocolate.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
- Break into pieces and enjoy!
