  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the peppermint extract and salt.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer.
  5. Immediately sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies evenly over the melted chocolate.
  6. Gently press the crushed candies into the chocolate.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  8. Break into pieces and enjoy!
