Ingredients
2 slices bread toasted thick-cut sourdough multigrain or wheat
1 large avocado
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt black pepper and red pepper flakes to taste
Optional sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
1. Toast bread until golden and crisp using thick-cut slices
2. Halve and pit avocado then scoop into small bowl
3. Add lemon juice and gently mash to desired texture keeping some texture
4. Divide and spread mashed avocado evenly across both toast slices
5. Drizzle each slice with 1 teaspoon olive oil and season with salt pepper and red pepper flakes
6. Serve immediately

Choose avocados that give slightly when squeezed for perfect ripeness.
