Description
A rich and decadent Southern-style pie made with gooey chocolate, buttery pecans, and a perfectly flaky crust.
Ingredients
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Melt chocolate chips until smooth.
3. Whisk corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt.
4. Add melted chocolate and mix well.
5. Stir in pecans.
6. Pour into the pie crust.
7. Bake 55–60 minutes.
8. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Toast pecans for deeper flavor.
Cover crust edges with foil if browning too fast.
