Ingredients

- 1.5 pounds brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or more, to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Optional: 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tender and caramelized.
- Remove from oven and toss with balsamic vinegar and maple syrup (if using).
- Serve immediately.
