- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.nIn a large bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Beat until well combined.nAdd the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.nIn a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.nGradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Stir in the chocolate chips.nIn another bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.nAdd the egg and peppermint extract to the cream cheese mixture. Beat until well combined. Add green food coloring, a few drops at a time, until you reach your desired shade of green.nPour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.nSpoon the mint cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter in dollops.nUse a knife or toothpick to swirl the mint mixture into the brownie batter, creating a beautiful marbled effect.nBake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Don’t overbake, or the brownies will be dry.nLet the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
