Mini Caprese Skewers: The Easiest Appetizer EVER!

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 12 skewers 1x

Description

These mini Caprese skewers are simple, elegant, and bursting with fresh flavors. Perfect as a bite-sized appetizer for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls (small, about 1/2 inch diameter)
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers (6 inch)

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves thoroughly.
  2. 2. If your mozzarella balls are larger, you can cut them in half. Smaller mozzarella balls work best for creating the perfect bite sized skewer.
  3. 3. Thread one cherry tomato, one mozzarella ball, and one basil leaf onto each skewer. Repeat until the skewer is mostly full, leaving a little room at the end for easy handling.
  4. 4. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
  5. 5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and extra virgin olive oil.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. 7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
