- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls (small, about 1/2 inch diameter)
- 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers (6 inch)
Instructions
- 1. Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves thoroughly.
- 2. If your mozzarella balls are larger, you can cut them in half. Smaller mozzarella balls work best for creating the perfect bite sized skewer.
- 3. Thread one cherry tomato, one mozzarella ball, and one basil leaf onto each skewer. Repeat until the skewer is mostly full, leaving a little room at the end for easy handling.
- 4. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
- 5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and extra virgin olive oil.
- 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
