Instructions

  1. 1. **Make the Crust:** In a food processor, combine the flour, butter, sugar, and salt. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. 2. Slowly add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, pulsing until the dough just comes together.
  3. 3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  4. 4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to fit a 9 inch tart pan with a removable bottom.
  5. 5. Press the dough into the tart pan and trim any excess.
  6. 6. Dock the bottom of the crust with a fork to prevent puffing.
