- Make the Crust: In a food processor, combine flour, butter, powdered sugar, and salt. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.nAdd ice water, one tablespoon at a time, pulsing until the dough just comes together. Be careful not to overmix.nWrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.nPreheat oven to 350°F (175°C).nRoll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness.nUse a cookie cutter or knife to cut out circles slightly larger than your tart pans. Gently press the dough into the tart pans.nPrick the bottom of each crust with a fork to prevent it from puffing up.nBake the crusts for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
