Description
These caramel chocolate pretzel bites are easy to make and the perfect combination of sweet and salty!

- 1 bag (11 ounces) mini pretzel twists
- 1 bag (14 ounces) caramel candies, unwrapped
- 2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
- 1 bag (12 ounces) semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- Valentine’s Day sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the mini pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a microwave safe bowl, combine unwrapped caramel candies and milk or heavy cream. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth.
- Spoon a small amount of the melted caramel onto the center of each pretzel.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 4 6 minutes, or until the caramel is softened.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and gently press a chocolate chip into the center of each caramel covered pretzel.
- Let the pretzel bites cool completely. This will allow the chocolate to set.
- While the pretzels are cooling, melt the remaining chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave safe bowl using 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the pretzel bites or dip the pretzel bites completely.
- Sprinkle Valentine’s Day sprinkles on top of the chocolate before it sets. Let everything set completely.
